Education
Graduated as Licentiate in Juridical Sciences in the Law School of Universidad Dr. José Matías Delgado. (Lawyer 1986).
Public Notary (1987).
Studies in Political Science and Public Administration in Universidad Tecnológica de El Salvador (1989-1990). Higher Diploma in International Legislation for Business held by Georgetown University Law Center and INCAE in Managua, Nicaragua (1998—1999).
Participating in several courses and seminars on banking, insurance, e-commerce, trusts, in different times and countries.
Experience
- Legal assistant in civil, criminal and labor courts in San Salvador (1982 -1985).
- Legal adviser for La Centroamericana, S.A., Insurance Company (1986 - l992).
- Presiding Director of the lawyers’ firm Corp Law, Torres Lemus y Asociados (1993 to date).
- Director of the Council Board of the Superintendency of the Financial System, elected for a period of five years starting in 2001, representing the honorable Supreme Court of Justice.
- Arbitrator of the Government of El Salvador for the Free Trade Agreements (2003 to date).
